Mesotherapy
This treatment involves a tailored infusion intended to nourish and refresh the skin. It may support the skin’s natural elasticity by encouraging collagen and elastin production, with outcomes varying between individuals.

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment that delivers a series of superfine deposits of vitamins, minerals and amino acids into the superficial layer of the skin. The aim is to hydrate and revitalise the skin’s surface. This approach may help soften the appearance of very superficial lines and temporarily brighten dull-looking skin. It can also be considered alongside plans for concerns such as visible pigmentation or mild textural irregularities, including superficial acne scarring. In some cases it may complement wrinkle treatment and facial volume loss treatment. Suitability and expected outcomes will be assessed during your consultation.
- A typical appointment takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Some discomfort can occur during the procedure but this is usually manageable. Short term swelling or bruising can occur. These effects generally settle over the next few days as the skin recovers.
- For best results, a course of around 6 sessions may be recommended every two to four weeks, followed by maintenance as advised by your clinician. Your plan will be based on your goals, medical history and skin type.
- For at-home care, our clinic may recommend products from Skinstitut or other brands where appropriate. Product selection, ingredient tolerance and any sensitivities will be reviewed with you to tailor a simple routine.

Risks and Recovery
All cosmetic procedures carry risks. With mesotherapy, possible effects include temporary redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, tenderness, bruising, itchiness, dryness, small bumps at treatment sites, mild pain, transient pigmentation changes, allergy or sensitivity to ingredients, infection, delayed healing and, rarely, scarring or vessel or nerve-related complications. People prone to cold sores may experience reactivation. Downtime and recovery vary from person to person and depend on the area treated and the formulation used. Multiple sessions are often required and results are not guaranteed. This information is general. An appropriately qualified health professional will assess your suitability, discuss potential benefits and alternatives, outline risks, provide personalised aftercare and confirm expected costs and timeframes before any treatment is undertaken.
