Wrinkle Treatment

At Revita Skin Clinic our experienced registered medical practitioner provides consultation-based wrinkle treatment.

At Revita Skin Clinic our experienced practitioner offers wrinkle treatment following a face-to-face assessment of your goals and medical history. The aim is a natural-looking softening of lines and wrinkles, with results that vary between individuals. Care is tailored and we focus on balanced, conservative outcomes.

Treatment plans are individualised. Session length and how long results are maintained differ from person to person. Any medicine used will only be prescribed after a consultation by an authorised prescriber. Visible changes can develop gradually; your practitioner will discuss expected timeframes for you.

The most commonly requested areas for wrinkle treatment are :

  • Crow’s feet
  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
In addition to this, wrinkle treatment may be discussed alongside other options during a consultation to:
  • Assess the potential to gently elevate the brow by relaxing targeted muscles where appropriate.
  • Discuss management pathways for headaches or migraines with your GP or relevant specialist if suitable.

Post Care:

  • Use normal facial movements as comfortable for a short period after your appointment if advised by your practitioner.
  • Avoid lying flat for several hours if recommended as part of your plan.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Do not rub or massage the treated area for approximately 24 hours unless instructed.
  • Delay facial treatments for up to 48 hours, or as directed by your practitioner.

    Risks and Recovery

Important information: All procedures carry risks and are not suitable for everyone. A consultation is required to determine suitability. Services are intended for adults aged 18 years and over. Results, the number of sessions, and the duration of effect vary between individuals.

Possible side effects: Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, headache, minor bleeding at the site, or a feeling of heaviness can occur. Less common effects include asymmetry, unintended relaxation of nearby muscles, eyelid or brow droop, smile or speech changes, dry eyes, blurred vision, neck weakness, nausea, dizziness, or allergy. Infection is rare but possible. If you experience unexpected symptoms, contact the clinic or seek medical care promptly.

Precautions and contraindications: Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Caution is required with certain neurological or neuromuscular conditions, bleeding disorders, active skin infection at the site, or if you are using specific medicines. Always disclose your full medical history and all medicines, including non-prescription and topical products.

Aftercare: Mild effects usually settle within a few days. Follow the personalised aftercare provided at your appointment. Use sun protection, avoid unnecessary pressure on the area, and attend recommended review appointments so your practitioner can assess your response.
