Nefertiti Lift
As we grow older the lower face has the tendency to sag and appear heavy.
As we grow older the lower face has the tendency to sag and appear heavy. This sagging and exaggeration of jowls is due to the contraction of muscles in the face. To relax this contraction and stop the pulling of the face downward we use anti wrinkle injections in a treatment known as the Nefertiti lift. By using anti wrinkle injections, we are aiding the muscles in the upper part of the face in lifting the muscles in the lower part of the face. The result being a more defined jawline with smoothing and lifting of the skin quite noticeable. In some cases to further enhance the result filler might be used. The Nefertiti lift is essentially a non surgical lower face lift that achieves brilliant results.
Anyone can have this treatment but those particularly with the following concerns will benefit more:
- Loose or folding skin below the chin or jawline
- Neck bands or “turkey neck”
- Rippled appearance along the jawline
- A very pronounced, square jawline
- Those with jowls
Treatments will need to be repeated every 4 or so months.
